Mix and Match

Blouse: $4.99  Purchased from Value Village
Label: Blue Ruby
The daisy pattern of this black and turquoise blouse was what initially drew me to this top. I love colours that POP! I also like the uniqueness of the collar, which I identify with as a mini tie.

Beret: $9.99  Purchased from Sears
Label: Jessica
I originally bought this hat for my boyfriends mom, but decided to "borrow" it after the cold weather set in. I don't typically wear a lot of animal print clothing (despite my 'Cougar Town' blog), but I really like the understated leopard design of this beret. It also keeps my head nice and cozy in this below O degree weather.

Skirt: $6.99  Purchased from Value Village
Label: Braemar Petites
This is another one of those skirts that I hemmed in order to make it more...modern, shall we say. I like the intricate folds of material on the waistband, and the gold buttons give this otherwise plain skirt some much needed pizazz!

Bracelet:$0.99  Purchased from Value Village
This charm bracelet is adorable. It has a little charm that says "Quesnel, BC" on it, so I am guessing that the original owner resided in Quesnel. It also has little charms of a mailbox, cowboy, and horse. Yee-Haw!

Bag: $9.99  Purchased from Value Village
Again, I adore this bag for the reasons being: it is black and gold, it has chain straps, and it is quilted. Definitely easy to mix and match with any outfit!

Stockings: $2.00  Purchased from Yoko Ya Ya
Sister company of Daiso, Yoko Ya Ya sells a variety of items in their store...including stockings! And with nothing in the store over $3.00, I think this purchase is a good deal! It is ESPECIALLY worthwhile for dog owners like me, considering the fact that my dogs love to scratch at my legs whenever they see me, resulting in many runs in my stockings...

Shoes: $7.99  Purchased from Value Village
Label: Enzo Angiolini

Frugal Finds Total: $42.94

  1. wow this is such an adorable and classy look! i can't believe the entire outfit was under $50! amazing:)

  2. And I can't believe Yokoyayayamama sells stockings! Now I can stop buying them from urban outfitters.

  3. Dianna! I love your blog! so glad you started one because your concept is unique and I love it. You have a great sense of style too. I actually recommended your blog to a girl I met and she really likes it too :) Keep up the great work! And I'll add you to my blogroll too.

I love the mixed patterns in this outfit and the bright blue. those shoes are classic too. and I love the shorter hem of the skirt haha, def more modern. I really need to hone my sewing skills so I can do that.
